Local Equities Market

For the week ending February 13, 2026, the local stock market, measured by the Combined Index, declined by 0.41%. The Main Market Index declined by 0.46%, the Junior Market Index improved by 0.31%, and the JSE USD Equities Index improved by 1.24%. During the Margaritaville (TURKS) Limited was the largest gainer, rising by approximately 34.85% to close at $13.89. Main Event Entertainment Group was the biggest decliner, which fell by 16.46% to close at $6.04.

Large-cap stocks, reflecting those listed on the Main Market Index are outperforming on a YTD basis, improving by 7.17%, relative to its Junior Market counterpart which has declined by 3.19%.

For the week ending February 13, 2026, overall market activity resulted from 127 stocks of which 63 advanced, 53 declined and 11 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 113,131,794 units valued at over $719,316,278.85. Key contributors to trading volume are TransJamaican Highway Limited with 30,355,008 (26.16%), followed by Kintyre Holdings (JA) Limited with 11,645,360 units (10.04%) Atlantic Hardware and Plumbing Company Limited with 8,306,543 units (7.16%).
