Local Equities Market

For the week ending June 05, 2026, the local stock market, measured by the Combined Index, declinedby 1.65%. The Main Market Index declined by 1.52%, the Junior Market Index declined by 3.45%, and the JSE USD Equities Index declined by 3.93%. During the Margaritaville (Turks) Limited was the largest gainer, rising by approximately 35.65% to close at $12.90. Productive Business Solution Ltd USD Ordinary Shares was the biggest decliner, which fell by 27.99% to close at $0.45.

Large-cap stocks, reflecting those listed on the Main Market Index are outperforming on a YTD basis, improving by 5.71%, relative to its Junior Market counterpart which has declining by 11.51%.

For the week ending June 05, 2026, overall market activity resulted from 127 stocks of which 40 advanced, 79 declined and 8 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 400,701,682 units valued at over $754,372,730.50. Key contributors to trading volume are Kintyre Holdings (JA) Limited with 148,431,856 (36.87%), followed by One on One Educational Services Limited with 130,214,915 units (32.35%) and TransJamaican Highway Limited with 25,109,863 units (6.24%).
