For the week ending September 12, 2025, the local stock market, measured by the Combined Index, declined by 0.89%. The Main Market Index declined by 0.83%, the Junior Market Index declined by 1.68%, and the JSE USD Equities Index improved by 0.18%. During the week Pulse Investments Limited was the largest gainer, rising by approximately 27.16% to close at $1.03. ISP Finance Services Limited was the biggest decliner, which fell by 33.61% to close at $11.30.
Large-cap stocks, reflecting those listed on the Main Market Index are outperforming on a YTD basis, declining by 5.31%, relative to its Junior Market counterpart which has declined by 9.84%.
For the week ending September 12, 2025, overall market activity resulted from 126 stocks of which 39 advanced, 66 declined and 21 traded firm. Market volume amounted to 132,086,579 units valued at over $648,575,716.52. Key contributors to trading volume are TransJamaican Highway Limited with 91,985,311 units (68.61%), followed by Fosrich Company Limited with 3,556,730 units (2.65%) and Sagicor Select Funds Limited – Financial with 3,132,435 units (2.34%).
